Wilma Burd Obituary

Wilma M. (Sproul) Burd age 89 of Vanderbilt, Pa passed away on October 17, 2020 in Harago’s Personal Care Home. She was born May 31, 1931 in Ohiopyle, Pa. She is the daughter of the late Thomas O. Sproul and Marea (Show) Sproul.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Glenn Burd and Second husband Paul Burd, she is also preceded in death by her son Stephan Burd and Several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her two sons Timothy Burd (Jan) and Barry K. Burd (Arleen) of Dunbar, brothers James Sproul (Kay) of Tempi, Arizona, David Sproul (Kay) of Tempi, Arizona and sister Loretta Conn of Ohio, daughter-in-law Beth Burd, three grandchildren Danny, Kaitlyn, Marke, several nieces and nephews and special friend Frank Guth.

Wilma attended Dunbar Baptist Church.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, PA on Tuesday October 20, 2020 from 2 to 8pm and on Wednesday October 21 until 11:00am the time of the service with Pastor Robert Wrachford officiating the service. Interment will follow in Irwin Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 social distancing will be in affect and mask are permitted to be worn upon entering the building.
