William F. Fisher Jr.

William F. Fisher Jr., 66, of Hopwood, passed away on Friday October 11, 2024 with his loving wife Peggy by his side.

He was born August 28, 1958 in Brownsville, the son of Anna (Welsh) Fisher of Hopwood and the late William Fisher Sr.

William is survived by his loving wife Margaret “Peggy” Fisher; son William F. Fisher III (Crystal); daughter Heather (Eric); stepsons Walt Grimes (Gidget); 7 grandchildren; and siblings Bob Fisher of Footedale, Anna Marie Griest of McClellandtown; Tommy Fisher of Royal, Gary Fisher (Kook) of Ralph, Debbie Miller (Raymond) of Hopwood, and Betty Jo McConnell of Grindstone; and many special nieces and nephews.

William served in the US Army. He was employed by Fayco Rentals and a member of Rivervalley Abate for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Wednesday October 16 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday October 17 from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 10am with Pastor Bob Miller Officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette cemetery with military honors.
