Stephen J. Kermes, 68, of Farmington, passed away on Monday June 3, 2024 at Uniontown Hospital.
He was born February 7, 1956 in Brownsville, the son of the late John and Anna Mae (Swartz) Kermes
In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by 2 brother s John and Francis; sister Patty; brother-in-law Ray Skinner; sister-in-law Edith Messmer; and his beloved pet Louie.
He is survived by his wife Gloria (Skinner) Kermes; daughters Janel Baker (Eric) of Farmington and Kalie Herring (Brandon) of Farmington; 2 grandchildren Weston and Kinsley; siblings Jim, Brenda, Pauline, and Elizabeth sisters-in-law Priscilla Morrison (Roger) and Cheryl Hunter brother-in-law Paul Messmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Family of Fath Church.
Stephen served as a US Marine and was a life member of Farmington Volunteer Fire Department.
He was employed through Arcosa Aggregates, Lake Lynn, PA.
Family and friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Thursday June 6 from 2-8pm with Farmington Fire Department conducting a service at 7pm and on Friday June 7 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Terry Collins and Pastor Gary Workman officiating.
