Sonia Joy (Oberlechner) Nicklow

Sonia Joy (Oberlechner) Nicklow, 49, of Carmichaels (Formerly of Uniontown) passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024.

She was born March 29, 1974 in Uniontown, the daughter of Russell E. Oberlechner and the late Linda J. Eshelman.

Sonia is survived her father Russell E. Oberlechner; daughter Betsy Ann David; sister Shannon (Oberlechner) Koty; nephew Tyler David Koty;  stepmother Peggy Grimes; loving puppy Maurice “Monkeybutt”; and many wonderful family and friends whom she loved.

Family and friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Friday January 26 from 4pm until the hour of the funeral service at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sonia’s name to Teddy Bear Care Corporation (PO Box 163 Carmichaels, PA 15320).
