On Friday January 16, 2026, Sharon Evans transitioned from her mortal life to eternal rest with her savior Jesus Christ at the age of 68 while in the loving care of her husband of 31 years Manuel Evans.
She was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Arthur Colaiuta Jr.; grandparents Catherine and George Bodnar and Myrtle and Arthur Colaiuta Sr.
She is survived by her husband Manuel Evans; Son Eric Smith who had her whole heart with his funny and kind personality; sister Marlene Gray; who made especially her childhood but including her adult life fun and uplifting; father-in-law and Wife Ben and June Evans; her mother-in-law Grace Dixon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She recently had been fighting her battle with cancer and had a positive and happy outlook in her remaining days. Sharon lived a giving, loving, and happy life, never making an enemy.
Sharon asked that all her family and friends support Manuel at this difficult time and keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Sharon worked in the healthcare field for the majority of her life and for over 18 years with Dr. Chalfont’s office. She also volunteered as the recording secretary for the North Union Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years and was the bar steward at the departments social club for 6 years. She retired from the fire department on her terms alone.
She wanted to make sure to thank some special people that made her day always. Friends, family, bar family, neighbors and acquaintances. Especially sister-in-law Missy Rounds and friends Jackie, Tracy, Marsha, Joy, Joe, Bobbie, Raylene, and Dale. She wants to be remembered with a smile on your face and maybe a little giggle or laugh because if you know you know. God Bless you all.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA. At her request there will be no visitation, but a memorial and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
