Ruth E. Lewis

Ruth Elaine Lewis, 77, of Farmington PA went to be with the Lord February 26, 2025, with her family by her side at home. 

She was born in Brownsville PA, December 3, 1947, a daughter of Mike Sr and Rosetta Hull Lutz. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother Ron Lutz and sister Beverly Lutz.  

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John “Jack” Lewis Sr., sons John Jr (Jamie) Lewis and Kevin (Angie) Lewis; grandchildren Michael (Katherine) Correal, MacKenzie (Tyler) Henderson, and Mason Lewis; great grandchildren Leo and Ivy Henderson; sisters Henrietta (Phil) Girard, Joanne (Gary) Squires, brother Mike Jr. “Bud” (Janet) Lutz, sister-in-law Marsha Lutz, brother-in-law James (Verna) Lewis, sister-in-law Gwendolyn Stearns; many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and the extended family of Deb and Bill Chisnell. 

The family would like to send a special thanks to Pastor Steve Davis for the multiple home and hospital visits. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of WVU Uniontown and Ruby hospitals along with Amedisys hospice. 

Ruth was a lifetime member of the Wharton Hunting and Fishing Club.   

Family and friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 2pm until the hour of the funeral service at 7pm.
