Ronald Lee Sliger (Babe) age 66 of Markleysburg, PA passed away peacefully at Uniontown Hospital on December 23, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born June 14, 1952, in Confluence, PA. He is survived by parents, Norman and Dolores (Fisher) Sliger, Markleysburg, PA; a daughter Amy (Sliger) and Robert Feathers, Friedens, PA; a very special sister Kathy (Sliger) and Ronald Shultz, Markleysburg, PA; a niece Alesha (Shultz) and Julian Ostrogorsky, Oakland, Maryland, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He also had a special group of friends: Bill Brown, Don Verney and Leroy Williams.

Ron was a 1970 graduate of Uniontown High School. He was a skilled carpenter with Kenny Chapman Construction and a avid hunter, fisherman, and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. The family would like to thank staff at Hillman Cancer Center, Dr. Afaq Ahmad, Dr. Mukul Patil, Mrs. Diane Humbert and Ms. Denise Layhue for their care and support during his fight. At Rons request, there will be no public viewing/ visitation. Internment will be at Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg, PA. Arrangements by Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home Farmington, PA
