Ronald A. Jellick, 88, of Lemont Furnace, passed away on Tuesday February 10, 2026 at WVU Uniontown Hospital.
He was born November 30, 1937 in Mount Braddock, PA, the son of the late Mike and Blanche (Mazur) Jellick.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his grandson Joseph Monaco; 8 sisters and 1 brother.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife Helen (Morrison) Jellick; children Tim Jellick of Uniontown, Joni Monaco (Mark) of West Salem, OH, Tom Jellick (Deanna) of Mount Braddock, and Kris Ann Martray (Keith) of Uniontown; grandchildren, Michael Jellick, Mara Welch (Johnathan), Nathan Jellick (Marissa), Mark Monaco (Marissa), Keith Martray, and Jillian Martray; great-grandchildren, Allianna Jellick, Wyatt Jellick and Emmett Jellick; and brother Robert Jellick of Mount Braddock.
Ronald worked as a truck driver for General Deliver for over 20 years. He proudly served in the Naval Air Force during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service and sacrifice.
He was a faithful member of Cove Run Free Methodist Church. Ronald had a great sense of humor and loved talking with people; he never met a stranger.
He loved animals and had many special pets throughout his life. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, singing, and playing his guitar.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA on Thursday February 12 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Friday February 13 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Travis Edgar and Pastor Roger Yeager officiating. Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
