Ralph "Doug" Rosenberger

Ralph “Doug” Rosenberger, 69, of Markleysburg, passed away on Monday July 21, 2025, at his home with his loving wife and son by his side.

He was born July 26, 1955, in Erie, PA, the son of the late Donald and Eva June (Glisan) Rosenberger.

In addition to his parents, Doug is preceded in death by his brother Sam Rosenberger and sister Connie Hillery.

Doug is survived by his wife of 51 years who he married on October 25, 1974 Denise R. (Neratka) Rosenberger; son Steven Rosenberger; siblings Larry (Jackie) Rosenberger of Ashburn, VA, Judy (Lee) Landman of Uniontown, Roger (Linda) Rosenberger of Charlotte NC, Jeff (Sandy) Rosenberger of Bruceton Mills, WV; brother and sister-in-law Molly Rosenberger of Uniontown, Floyd Hillery of Bruceton Mills, WV, Bob (Lisa) Neratka of Markleysburg; and Jeff (Crystal) Neratka of Confluence; and he was loved by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He attended New Life Covenant Church, Markleysburg.

Doug was the owner and operator of Rosenberger Trucking “Big Rigger” for many years, co-owner of Rosenberger Auto Sales for 42 years, and Henry Clay Township Tax Collector for 35 years.

He was a member of Fayette Lodge 228 of Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite NMJ, and Syria Shriners.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, PA on Wednesday July 23 from 2-8pm with Fayette Lodge 228 Free and Accepted Masons holding a service at 7PM. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday July 24 in New Life Covenant Church, Markleysburg from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Kenneth Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
