Ralph C. “Dody” Bettencourt, 81, of Dunbar, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, with his devoted wife and son at his side.
He was born on August 9, 1944, in Los Angeles, California, the son of the late Manuel and Glenna (Butcher) Bettencourt.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Faye Bettencourt; his son, Steven Bettencourt (Tamara) of Farmington; and his sister, Paulette Harvey of Pittsburgh.
He retired from Coolspring Stone Supply, where he worked as a High Lift Operator. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting deer and bear.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Friday May 1 from 2-7pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday May 2 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Gary Workman officiating. Interment will follow in Asher Glade Cemetery.
