Phyllis E. VanSickle

Phyllis E. VanSickle, 85, of Uniontown passed away on Tuesday September 9, 2025.

She was born July 19, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Donald and Behula (Hart) Porterfield.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Kenneth VanSickle; siblings Donald Porterfield, Terry Porterfield, and Billie Jean Porterfield; and daughter-in-law Norina VanSickle.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Rebecca Meyer of Homercity, PA; sons Scott Kenneth VanSickle (Patricia) of El Dorado, AR and Heath Wilbur VanSickle of Clarks Summit, PA; grandchildren Laurrae VanSickle, Brittany VanSickle, Stephen Meyer, Abagail VanSickle, Chance Vansickle, and Claire VanSickle; and four great-grandchildren.

She was a member of First Christian Church of Perryopolis.

She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Uniontown for 50 years and New Geneva Ladies Bible Study.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Friday September 12 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday September 13 from 12pm until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm. Interment will follow in Irwin Memorial Cemetery.
