Phillip Lee Dennis, 73, of Farmington, PA, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday March 8, 2025.
He was born April 24, 1951.
Phillip is preceded in death by his sister Ellen Valentine; a niece; and 3 nephews.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Anna Dennis; siblings Wesley (Donna) Dennis, Darlene (Jeff) Pawlak, Marlene (Al) McDougall, Linda Fisher, Bonnie Williams, Diane (Terry) Hostetler; lifelong friend Tommy Hager, his children and grandchildren; many special lifelong friends, 15 nieces and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews; and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Uniontown High school class of 1968.
At the age of 17, Phillip joined the Farmington Fire Department. During his time, he worked his way up to president. He was later recognized as an honorary member and former president of Fayette County Fireman’s Association with over 56 years working in fire service.
Phillip was a lifelong member of Wharton Township Hunting and Fishing Club where he dedicated countless hours. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends cooking, playing cards, and reading.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, PA on Monday March 10 from 3-8pm with Farmington Fire Department holding a service at 7PM. Immediately following the service Fayette County Fireman’s association will hold a tribute. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday March 11 from 10-11am the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Steve Davis officiating.
