With Heavy Hearts, we invite you to say a final goodbye to Paulmena (Piccolomini) Pizzurro.
Born on November 1, 1936 to John and Mildred Piccolomini, she left us on September 6, 2025- being blessed with 88 years to perfect her loveliness.
Paulmena leaves behind her adoring and exceptionally devoted son Frank and daughter-in-law Kimberly; her grandchildren Sergio Pizzurro (wife Franchesca) Kristin (Georgi) Lizza (Husband Anthony), Jonathan Georgi, and her 4 great-grandchildren Lupo Pizzuro, Matthew John, Giovanni Lizza, and Seraphina Lizza.
Also left to grieve are her daughter Trina (Pizzurro) Cortese, son-in-law Don Cortese, grandson Carlo Cortese (wife Elizabeth) along with her extended family.
Her physical beauty and that of her character, were recognized by anyone who knew her, but she was especially appreciated by her husband of 63 years Frank Sr. (Deceased). Together they built a terrific life serving their God, enjoying family and sharing a love to be admired.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Monday September 8 from 4-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday September 9 from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 10am. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
