Paul W. Niemiec

Paul W. Niemiec, 87, of Uniontown, passed away on Sunday January 11, 2026 in WVU Ruby Hospital.

He was born February 5, 1938 in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late JoAnn Niemiec.

Paul is survived by his daughter Michele Thorsen of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren Dimitri Thorsen and Desha Thorsen of Phoenix, AZ; and brother Richard Niemiec (Patricia) of Washington, PA.

Paul worked as a salesman for Kahn’s Meats for many years.

He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, and baseball, and took pride in supporting the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Uniontown Red Raiders.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA on Friday January 16 from 4-6pm. Interment will be held privately with the family.
