Pamala D. Mitchell

Pamala D. Mitchell (Grace), 72, of Carmichaels, PA, passed away on Sunday April 20, 2025.

She was born January 23, 1953 in Uniontown, PA.

Pamala is preceded in death by her mother Faye McCartney; grandmother Esther Myers; and step-father Bill McCartney.

She is survived by her son Kane Mitchell; daughters Sheena Mitchell and Chloe Pattison; granddaughter Myla Pattison; Brother Derek McCartney; and many nieces and nephews. 

Once diagnosed with rare disease Neuromyelitis Optica, she poured her entire heart and being into advocacy work and raising awareness. She created a community for those affected by this disease and was a crusader in sharing her knowledge and helping others affected. She was a shining star among her NMO family and brought people together from all over the world. She also spent time undergoing animal rescue, loved her music, to dance, and her children, pets and grandchild were her pride and joy. Especially her grandchild, Myla. Grace, was a Christian and no doubt she had the most glorious time meeting Jesus on Resurrection Sunday. This is not goodbye, but until we meet again.

Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA. All services will be held privately with the family.
