Obituary
Nellie S. Pilipovich, 99, of Uniontown, passed away on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at Hillside Manor.
She was born December 19, 1923 in Uniontown. She is the daughter of the late Donato “Dan” Sabia and Marie Lucia (Silio).
In addition to her parents, Nellie was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Pilipovich and two sisters.
Nellie is survived by her sister Catherine Sabia of Uniontown; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a graduate of Uniontown Joint Senior Highschool. After high school, Nellie attended and graduated from Waynesburg College.
She worked as a secretary in the Washington DC area for many years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hillside Manner for their wonderful care and compassion.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME (HOPWOOD). A grave side service will be held at Mount Saint Macrina on Wednesday September 13 at 10am.
