Maxine Ruth Anderson

Maxine Ruth Anderson passed away to go home to be with her lord and savior with her loving family by her side on Saturday December 14, 2024. She was the daughter of Hobart and Goldie Herring who predeceased her in death. She was also predeceased by 9 siblings. 

Her husband Robert E. Lee Anderson, Sr. passed away April 30, 1990.

She is survived by siblings, Mary C. Hobart, Mary B. York and James Herring (Lisa). 

Maxine is survived by her 4 sons, Robert E. Lee, Jr. (Yvonne), Randy (Debbie), Richard (Kim), Rodney. And one daughter, Brenda Mitchell (Hank). 

Maxine is survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 

She was a member of the Markleysburg Union Church, a charter member of the Markleysburg Henry Clay Firemans Ladies Auxiliary and a Member of the Mountain Citizens Action Group where she made many dear friends over the years.

Friends will be received at the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, PA on Wednesday December 18 from 2pm to 8pm and on Thursday, December 19 from 10am-11am. Hour of service at 11am with Pastor Gary Workman and Pastor Mike Grantz officiating.
