Mary Ann D'Amore

Mary Ann D’Amore, 96, of Uniontown, PA passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at home with her loving family at her side. 

She was born on January 3, 1928, in Uniontown, PA daughter of Charles and Anna Mae Kashary. 

Her beloved husband, John D’Amore, parents, Charles and Anna Mae Kashary, brothers, Carl, James, Charles, Edward, and sister Thelma Bukovitz preceded her in death—also, sons-in-law, Ken Mitchell and Richard Lilley. 

Mary Ann retired from Gee Bee Grocery Store as a Dairy Manager.  She was a devout member of Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church, Hutchinson Sportsman Club, AMVETS, Elks and Circle Club. 

She cherished her family above all else. Her favorite things to do were watching The Steelers and The Buccos.  She also loved to play bingo, cards, and blackjack.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends in her retirement. 

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Kathy Bevans, Connie Lilley, Joan Mitchell, and Jackie Crowley (Mark); grandchildren, Christina Bevans, John Mitchell (Laura), Angela Alkire (Travis), Brian Lilley (Kimberly), Adam Crowley (Leanna), Caitlin Crowley (Evan); great-grandchildren, Steven (Melony), Avery (Cole), Tristan, Colby, Savannah, Donovan, Charlie, Emma, Sophie, Nora, Fiona; great-great granddaughter, Brooklyn. Mary Ann was also survived by many nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, and sisters-in-law. 

The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care provided by granddaughters, Christina and Angela, the staff at Amedisys Hospice, and her caregivers over the past few years, Robin, Donna, Cindy, and Betty. 

Friends will be received at Crawford Funeral Home, 1189 National Pike, Hopwood, PA 15445, Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 9:30 am when Prayers of Transfer will be said. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am in Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church. 

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA
