Mary Alice Newcomer

Mary Alice Newcomer, 71, of Masontown and formerly of Hopwood, PA passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home. She was born March 17, 1952, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late John and Mary Alice (Cosgrove) Gaddis.  

In addition to her parents, Mary Alice is predeceased by her husband Ralph Newcomer Jr., a grandchild Zander Newcomer, and a brother John “Bugger” Gaddis. 

Surviving are two children, Michele Newcomer (Brandon Clark) with whom she made her home and Jerry Newcomer of Brownsville, PA, one sister Peggy Gersky (Ed) of Brownsville, PA, a brother Perry Gaddis (Rose) of Hopwood, PA, two grandchildren; Jared Newcomer and Athena Clark, and many nieces and nephews. 

Mary Alice was a Judge of Elections in South Union Township for over 40 years. 

A celebration of Life and service will be held at a date to be announced.
