Mary Ann (Banks) Shetler

Mary Ann Banks Shetler was born May 27, 1930 in Uniontown, PA. She was the daughter of the late George and Velma Banks. Better known by her near and dear as “Tootsie”, Mary was a spitfire from day one. Anyone who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing her knew she had a heart and gold. Her family was her world. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son John “Paris”E. Shetler Jr., daughter Theresa “Tina” M. Allen and her loving companion of 39 years Marion “Marty” Cleypool. She was devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Uniontown. Mary Ann, passed peacefully on November 22, 2022 at the age of 92 with her granddaughters by her side. Left to cherish her memory are granddaughters Tania Bosley and fiancé Keith bolish of Uniontown, Jennifer Hartman of Dallas, Tx/ Manhattan Beach, CA with whom she resided with.  Great grandchildren whom she loved and adored:  Riley and Hunter Bosley, and especially Cole and Preston Allen and Gianella Hartman. Her legacy is one of strength, laughter and boundless love.

Friends will be received on Wednesday in the DONALD R CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, PA, from 9:00am to 10:30am when prayers of transfer will be said followed by a 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's R.C. Church. Entombment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
