Mary “Cathy” (Groover) Means age 70 of Ohiopyle, Pa, passed away Monday November 22, 2021 in Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born January 15, 1951 in Uniontown, Pa. She is the daughter of the late John Groover Sr. and Mary Ellen (Hiles) Groover.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother John and wife Terry Groover.

She is survived by her husband Jim Means, daughters Chris (Brent) House, Jamie (Mark) Lambie and Melissa Metts (Tim), grandchildren Emily, Timmy, Bec, Rob, Holly, Gianni, Zachery, Ryan, Markie, Chelsea, Nick, Courtney, Brad and Ben, great grandchildren Tyler, Gavin, Kenleigh, Adalynn, Cooper. Also surviving is her sister Bonnie Handricks and brothers Larry Groover (Shelia), Keith Groover (Ethel), Randy Groover and several nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker and a loving wife of 49 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, PA, on Friday November 26, 2021 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm and on Saturday November 27, 2021 until 11:00am the time of the service with Pastor Gary Workman officiating the service. Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
