Mary V. Martin

Mary V. Martin, 94, of Markleysburg, passed away on Wednesday September 10, 2025.

She was born May 17, 1931 in Confluence, PA, the daughter of the late Ray and Nellie (McDaniels) Romesburg.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Dale Martin (2005); and son-in-law Gary Deal (2016).

Mary is survived by her children Gregory D. Martin (Sheila) of Gibbon Glade and Vickie Deal of Markleysburg; grandchildren Gregory A. Martin of Gibbon Glade, Tony Deal (Amy) of Beaver Creek, and Michael Deal of Markleysburg; 2 great-granddaughters Morgan and Madison of Morgantown; brother Thomas Romesburg (Faye) of Addison; and sister Betty Burnsworth of Uniontown.

She was a member of Union Chapel Church.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Saturday September 13 from 4-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Sunday September 14 from 12pm until the hour of the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor David Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
