Mary Louise Fornili

Mary Louise Fornili, 78, of Connellsville, passed away on January 29, 2025 at her home.

She was born August 31, 1945 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of the late Patrick and Alice (Clark) Prichard.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Harry Fornili; and siblings James Prichard, Madalyn Thornton, and Dale Thornton; and brother-in-law Paul Sollers.

Mary is survived by her children Richard Archbold Jr. (Rebecca) of Smithfield and Kenneth Archbold (Ronda) of Hopwood; grandchildren Richard Archbold III, Sarah Archbold, Susan Wade, Amber Valentine, Jonathan Mayle, Ava Wilson, Amy Wilson, Jessica Murray, Jennifer Spedden, Anthony Fornili (Julie), and Cale Fornili (Adrian); many great-grandchildren; siblings Faye Veghts (Nicholas) of Naperville, IL, Tracy Sollers of Springfield, VA, and Robert Thornton of Uniontown; niece and nephews Ginny Jones (Chris) of VA, Patrick Sollers (Valerie) of VA, and Nolan Sollers of VA; and special friends Cheryl Morrison of New Salem and Vicki Miller of Connellsville.

She was a volunteer at Uniontown Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of the Hopwood Garden Club and the Red Hatters.

Mary was a member of St. Therese De Lisieux R.C. Church.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Friday January 31 from 3-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday February 1 from 9am until prayers of transfer at 9:30am followed by a 10am mass of Christian burial in St. Therese De Lisieux R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery.
