Marsha D. (Maddas) Marva

Marsha Dyonne (Maddas) Marva, 71, of Lemont Furnace, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 16, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born November 30, 1953 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Jacqueline (Hagar) Maddas.

In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her son Roger Marva; and brother Jeffrey Maddas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Lewis A. Marva; children, Eric Marva (Michelle), Christopher Marva, and Justin Marva all of Lemont Furnace; grandchildren Jimmy (Jennifer), Cal (Chelsea), Haley (Colbey), Ivy, and Eli; great-grandson Cassian; siblings Lisa Quarrick (Brian) of West Leisenring and Douglas Maddas of Lemont Furnace; aunt Jill Hagar; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marsha was a retired Cafeteria Manager for Laurel Highlands School District. She was a member of VFW post #51 and North Union Fire Hall. She was a hard worker and a loving mom and grandmother.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R, CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA on Thursday March 20 from 2-7pm. Additional visitation will be held on Friday March 21 from 9am until the hour of the funeral service at 10am with Pastor James Jobes officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
