Marsha L. Bonk

Marsha L. (Smitley) Bonk, 75, of Uniontown, passed away on Saturday January 3, 2026, at her home.

She was born October 22, 1950, in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of the late Ray C. and Lela (Barnes) Smitley.

In addition to her parents, Marsha is preceded in death by her husband Michael Bonk (2023) and brother Terry Smitley.

Marsha is survived by her sister Donna M. Lindsay of Uniontown, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. 

She was an advocate for Open Doors Disability Advocacy.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD PA on Friday January 9 from 4-7pm. A Parastas will be celebrated at 5pm. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday January 10 from 9am until 9:30am when a Panachida Service will be held followed by a Divine Liturgy in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church at 10am. Interment will be private in St. John Byzantine Cemetery.
