Mark C. Steele

Mark C. Steele of Uniontown PA passed away at the Uniontown Hospital on January 27, 2025.

He was born on August 1, 1956 to Thomas R. Steele and Harriett McGinty Steele.

He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in 1974. Throughout his life he worked in the home health care field as well as Laurel Caverns and Nemacolin Woodlands. 

Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie, his parents and his brother, Thomas R. Steele Jr. He is survived by his brother, Daniel N. Steele (Linda) of The Villages, FL, and sisters Amy Steele Bolger of Norriton, PA, Leah Steele Foster of Richmond, VA and Roberta Steele Relich (Pat) of Burke, VA. Mark also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Mark was a member of the Uniontown American Legion. He loved old movies, the Hallmark Channel and an avid reader of Louie Lamour novels. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD. There will be a funeral mass at 10am on Friday March 28, 2025, in St. John’s Roman Catholic Church. A private interment will be held in Mount Macrina Cemetery.
