Levie Purcell Obituary

Levie Earl Purcell age 83 of Uniontown, Pa, passed away on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at home. He was born October 18, 1937 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He is the son of the late Van Zant Purcell and Elva (Wright) Purcell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two older brothers Marvin and James Purcell.

He is survived by his wife Corinne A. (Nairn) Purcell of Uniontown, children Kelly P. Fernandez (Kyle) of Phoenix, Arizona, Van Purcell (Amanda) of Pittsburgh, Pa, grandchildren Kylie Fernandez, Collin Purcell, Van Purcell, and Aven Purcell. Also surviving is one sister Nelda Moyer of Louisville, Kentucky.

He was a retired journeyman in the Iron Workers Union. He was United States Army Veteran and a member of the Uniontown Wood Workers Group.

Family will greet friends in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD, PA, Monday October 4, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Interment will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Uniontown Public Library.
