Lavina M. Fike

Lavina M. Fike, 76, of Uniontown (formerly of Markleysburg) passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2025.

She was born August 21, 1948 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Rosella (Stark) Thomas.

In addition to her parents, Lavina is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fike; son John Fike; and siblings Edna Falkner, Mary Fike, and Shirley Thomas.

Lavina is survived by her children Joseph Thomas (Joyce) of Markleysburg, Dawn Black (Howard Jr.) of Brownsville, and Dianna Fike of Uniontown.; grandchildren Mike Ravenscraft, Robert Thomas, Joe Dugan, Brandon Dugan, Nicole Scherich, Sara Fike, Danielle Fike, and Dylan Hatfield; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings James Thomas (Mimi) of Jonesborough TN, Judy Smith (Roger) of Bruceton Mills, WV, Bea Miller of MD, and Harry Thomas of Markleysburg.

She had been a member of Laurel Baptist Church, Gibbon Glade.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, PA on Monday February 17 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday February 18 from 10-11am the hour of the funeral service with Pastor Martin Stewart officiating. Interment will be held in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
