Larry R. King

Larry Ray King, 79, of Markleysburg, passed away on Friday April 11, 2025 at home with his loving family by his side.

He was born April 13, 1945 in Scullton, PA, the son of the late Ray S. and Bertha (Schmuck) King.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brothers Harold, Charles Sr., Arthur, and Lester; sisters Betty and Marggie; and grandson CPL Samuel D. King (USMC); mother and father-in-law Arnold and Gladys Fike; and brothers-in-law Richard and George Fike.

He is survived by his wife Marian (Sue) King Fike of Markleysburg; children Debra (Mickey) Jenkins of Markleysburg, Stephanie (David) Lane of Smock, and Dale (Jimmy) Bower of Addison; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-grandson on the way; and sister-in-law Grace Fike.

Larry was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.

He was a member of Union Chapel Church, Markleysburg, PA.

Arrangements are under the care of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, PA. As per Larry’s wishes all services will be held privately with the family.
