Junior Glenn Fike

Junior Glenn Fike, 82, of Markleysburg, PA. passed away suddenly Friday, December 29, 2023. He was born May 8, 1941, in Hazelton, WV., the son of the late Elvy and Margaret (Frantz) Fike.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters: Naomi Rosenberger, Sylvia Summers, Rosalie Collins, and Patricia Funk.

Surviving are his wife Violet Garlick, daughter Mary Ann Rounds (Arlie) of Markleysburg, step-daughter Tammy Alderich (Jason) of Columbiana, AL, six grandchildren: Jeremy Rounds, Jennifer Caton, Bobby Rounds, Samantha Pauley, Nicholas Alderich, and Benjamin Alderich, nine great grandchildren, one brother Douglas Fike (Debbie) of Bruceton Mills, WV., one sister Ethel Lose of Bruceton Mills, WV., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Junior was a Christian by faith, a coal truck driver for 36 years, and retired from Summit Resources with 20 years of service.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM the hour of service. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Fearer Road, Markleysburg, PA.
