Joyce Lee Barnes age 80 of Apollo, Pa, daughter of Gurtrude King and William Howe, of Washington DC, passed on Nov,23 2021. She was born January 22, 1940 in Washington D.C.. She enjoyed everything life had to offer. She was a very intelligent C.P.A. As an avid swimmer, she shared all of her skills with all of her children. As her children grew older, she shared Christmas Joy, her favorite time of the year, by cooking and singing. There are many others that were blessed by her presence. Proceeded in death, are her parents and siblings, her daughter, Bonnie Jean Marean, Andrew Blake Marean, her granddaughters, Wendy Mace, Joy-Joy Marean. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Barnes, her daughters, Trudy Anderson,(April Kauffman, Derek Anderson) Michelle Greer, (Chris Marean, Kenneth Greer) Patrica Mitichell,(Crystal Young, Keith Young) her son John Marean,(James Michael Marean) and a step-daughter Sheila Barnes.

Friends will be received on Tuesday November 30, 2021 in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, PA, from 9:30am to 10:30amthe hour of the service with Pastor David Herring officiating the service. Entombment will follow at 1:00pm at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
