Joel J. "Pete" Rugg

Joel J. “Pete” Rugg age 40 of Markleysburg, Pa, passed away October 14, 2022. He was born April 20, 1982 in Cumberland, Maryland. He is the son of the late James S. “Jim” Rugg and Joy (Wilson) Rugg Tucker.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Jeremy and Josh Rugg.

He is survived by his two children Maiya Rugg and Tristan Rugg and the mother of his children Ronica Rugg all of Lemont Furnace. Also surviving is his sister Janelle Rugg of Markleysburg, Pa.

He enjoyed watching his son Tristan play football and taking his daughter Maiya out to dinner and Starbucks. He loved playing softball and detailing cars and spending time with his nieces and nephew.

Family and Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, PA, on Thursday October 20, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday October 21, 2022 until 11:00am the time of the service with Pastor Martin Stewart officiating the service. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery in Markleysburg.
