Jane Marie Weaver (nee Maher), age 93, formerly of Uniontown, passed away on March 30 in New York City where she lived with her daughter Robin.
She is survived by Robin, her husband, Thomas Klingenstein and her daughter-in-law, Jill Weaver of Dover, Delaware. She is also survived by her sisters Ellen Eddie of Palmetto, Florida, Rita Riordan of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ann Sweeney of Uniontown, sisters-in-law Patti Maher of Masontown, Joann Maher of Uniontown and Sara Boal of Uniontown and by her great friend, Ann Marshall.
She was especially close to her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her godson, Michael McFetridge. They all adored her.
She bore her sorrows with great dignity: the loss of her husband Orin (“Sonny”) Weaver in 2001 and her son James (“Jimmy”) Weaver in 2021.
She was a graduate of St. John’s High School and spent a long career at Cohen’s Furniture Store and the First National Bank, both in Uniontown.
Friends and family described her as wonderful, elegant, and beautiful inside and out. She was all of that and more. Most of all she was kind and thoughtful – ALWAYS thinking of others. She was loved by everyone she touched. She will be dearly missed.
