James D. Hager, 92, of Uniontown, passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2025.
He was born March 31, 1933 in Uniontown, the son of the late Charles L. and Mabel (Garbart) Hager.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife Nora (Fiske) Hager; and two sisters Shirley Schafer and Pauline Crevonis.
James in survived by his children David W. Hager (Christine) of Smithton, and Susan K. Wise (Douglas) of Sycamore, PA; grandchildren James R. Hager (Jillian) of Smithton, Sara Hager (Robert) of Connellsville, Holly Webb (Nick) of Morgantown, WV, and Cody J. Hildreth (Stephanie) of Cannonsburg; great-grandchildren Grace Webb, Adline Webb, Bridger Hildreth, and Emily Hildreth.
He was a farmer all his life and owned Hager’s Feed Store in West Newton, PA. He was a member of Cattleman’s Association.
James served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Era.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA. A private graveside service and interment will be held in Bethel Cemetery.
