James W. Crum

James W. Crum, 88, of Smithfield, passed away on January 21, 2024 at his home.

He was born December 27, 1935 in Uniontown, the son of the late Harry D. and Minnie F. (Priest) Crum.

James is predeceased by wife Catherine Crum; son Charles Jason Crum; and sister Betty Casserly.

James is survived by son James W. Crum (Sherry) of Smithfield; children Steven Patterson of Hopwood, Cindy Patterson, and Deborah Croftchek of Smock; brother Ed Crum (Jane) of Lemont Furnace; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

He worked in UMWA Robena Mine for over 20 years.

Friends and family will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Thursday January 25 from 2pm-6pm and Friday January 26 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Bob Miller officiating.

Interment will follow at Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
