Jack R. McGee

Jack R. McGee Jr, 57, of Hopwood, passed away at his home peacefully on Wednesday June 18, 2025 to now enter his heavenly home with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Preceding him in death was his father Jack R. McGee Sr.; brother Thomas A. McGee and nephew David A. Works Jr.

Jack is survived by his mother L. Berneice (Chambers) McGee of Hopwood; uncle Francis C. Chambers and wife Vicki of Uniontown; sisters Lois J. Fellows of Jeanette, Cindi (McGee) Works and husband David A. Works Sr. of Hopwood; and brother H. Michael McGee Sr. and wife Michele of Hopwood; nieces and nephews Meghan A. McGee of Greensburg, Andrea D. Works of Hopwood, H. Michael Jr. and wife Breann of Hopwood, and James E. Fellows Jr. and wife Samantha of Smithfield; great nieces and nephews Robert A Fabery, Leena R. Fabery, Octavia R. McGee, Cambree L. McGee, Ember C. Dukehart, and Kiera N. Dukehart; cousins Natalie L. (Chambers)  Boyd and husband Brian of Grindstone, Nicole E. Chambers and partner Randy Nester of Uniontown; and many other family and friends.

Jack has been a member of Great Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown since he was a child. He enjoyed attending Sunday services and bible study until the day he physically couldn’t. Jack loved to travel to Ocean City for family vacations. He enjoyed going on shopping trips with his mother, sister, and niece and playing pool, cards, and loved to bowl.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA on Sunday June 22 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Monday June 23 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Mac Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
