Geraldine M. Saluga

Geraldine M. Saluga, 84, of Uniontown, passed away on Thursday August 7, 2025.

She was born February 22, 1941 in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Bobyak) Popson.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband John Robert Saluga; and sister Elaine Koschock

Geraldine is survived by her children John M. Saluga (Elizabeth) of Uniontown and Christina Saluga of Uniontown; grandchildren Mary Beth Paget (John) and Nina Saluga; great-grandchildren Rilynn Paget and Hank Resnikoff; and siblings Richard Popson (Terri) and Mary Jo Popson-Matthews.

Geraldine was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church.

She worked as a caregiver for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA on Tuesday August 12 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday August 13 from 9am until 9:30am when prayers of transfer will be held followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s R.C. Church. Graveside service and interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery.
