Freda P. Ritz

Freda P. Ritz, 87, of Hopwood, passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2024 at Rolling Meadows Personal Care Home, Waynesburg.

She was born May 30, 1937 in Brownfield, PA, the daughter of the late Harry and Henrietta (Ringer) Rankin.

In addition to her parents, Freda is preceded in death by her husband William Ritz; son Robert Bowland; 7 sisters; and 4 brothers.

Freda is survived by her children Rick Bowland (Sherry) of Brownsville and JR Ritz (Terra) of Oliver; grandchildren Christina Bowland, JR. Ritz III, Austin Garden, and Addie Ritz; several great-grandchildren; and brother James Rankin of Big Brownfield.

Arrangements are under the care of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD. A graveside service will be held on Thursday November 21 at 11AM in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum with Pastor David Herring officiating.
