Elizabeth (Hubany) Swartz

Elizabeth “Libby” (Hubany) Swartz, 94, passed away on September 30, 2024 at Beechwood Court.

She was born July 7, 1930 in Collier, PA, the daughter of the late Mike and Anna (Semancik) Hubany.

In addition to her parents, Libby is preceded in death by her husband John G. Swartz; son Thomas M. Swartz; siblings Margaret (Hubany) Semans, Bob and wife Margaret “Pegg” (Reeves) Hubany, and Michael and wife Dyanna (Taylor) Hubany.

Libby is survived by her son Daniel J. and wife Leslie (Rosner) Swartz; grandson Justin of Dallastown, PA; sister Barbara Barrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of the CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD. A funeral mass will be held on Friday October 4 at 10AM in the S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will be held privately with the family.
