Eleanor C. Bigam, 89, of Lemont Furnace, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at WVU Uniontown Hospital.
Born on September 20, 1936, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Reid and Jessie (Dean) Grimm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wade Sutton; her second husband, Marling Bigam; her sons, Mark A. Sutton and David W. Sutton; and her siblings Jessie Firestone, Eileen Cole, Paul Grimm and James Grimm.
Eleanor is survived by her brothers, Richard A. Grimm Sr. and Pat of Lemont Furnace, and Kenny Grimm and Tangy, of Dunbar; as well as her grandson, David S. Anderson of Tucson, Arizona.
She was a dedicated member of the North Union Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was also a former member of the AMVETS Post 103 Ladies Auxiliary.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD. In accordance with Eleanor's wishes, all services will be private. Interment will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smithfield.
