Douglas Sproul

Douglas Sproul 71, of Smock, formally of Ohiopyle, passed away on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 in Uniontown hospital with his loving family by his side.

 He was born June 7th, 1953. The son of the late Robert Jennings Sproul and Dorothy (Means) Sproul Friend.

He was preceded in death by his sister Glenda Sproul Wheeler. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Rebecca (Jackson) Sproul, two children, Stephanie Bittner (David) and Steven Sproul (Roxann, Brad), two grandsons Colton Bittner (Emily) and Mason Bittner (Kaitlyn), sisters Roberta Sproul (Moni) and Gerry Jackson (Charles), brother Garry Sproul (Bertha) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA on Saturday March 15 from 1 to 3 PM and service at 3 PM with Pastor Gary Workman officiating.
