Dorothy C. Glisan

Dorothy C. Glisan, 90 of Markleysburg, Pa. passed away June 6, 2024, at Lytle’s Personal Care Home, Markleysburg.  She was born December 13, 1933, in Pittsburgh, Pa. the daughter of the late Charles Paul Thomas and Claire May (Ponek) Thomas.   In addition to her parents, she predeceased by three children, David, Vincent, and Bruce, one brother, Charles Thomas, and 2 great-grandchildren, Johnny and Cory.

Surviving are five children; Daniel Glisan (Karen) of Front Royal, Va., Jerry Lee Glisan of Markleysburg, Donald Glisan Jr. (Kim) of Markleysburg, Barry Wayne Glisan (Suzann) Smock and Joseph Lance Glisan (Cheryl) of Markleysburg and seventeen grandchildren.

Dorothy worked for a number of years as a police dispatcher in Masontown.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, Friday June 14, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 and Saturday from 10:00 AM till 11:00AM the hour of the service with Pastor David Herring officiating.  Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
