Dolores A. Dixon, 85, of Markleysburg, passed away on Wednesday November 20, 2024 in Ruby Memorial Hospital Morgantown, WV.
She was born February 20, 1939 in Markleysburg, PA, the daughter of the late Arthur S. and Elsie (Glover) Burnworth.
In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Phillip Ferguson; son Timothy Dixon; daughter Cindy Wolfe and infant daughter Suzie Miller.
Dolores is survived by her son Charles E. Miller (Janice) of Confluence grandchildren Eric Scott Miller (Crystal) of Friendsville, MD, Jarred Edward Miller (McKenzie) of Markleysburg, and Shaun Herring currently serving in the Navy; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Janice Elaine Sechler (Ted) of Harrisburg; and brother Jack Burnworth (Sandy) of FL.
She was a lifelong member of Markleysburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was retired from Pressley Ridge as a cook.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON on Sunday November 24 from 4-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Monday November 25 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor David Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery Markleysburg.
