Delbert Eugene Frey, Sr

Our beloved Daddy, Delbert E. Frey, Sr., has went to be with his loving father, the Lord Jesus.  Daddy has had a long hard life and worked very hard for everything he has and never asked anyone for anything.  He would help anyone and give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  He loved each and every single one of his children.  He loved each one of them in a special way.  He loved to sing to praise God.  One of his favorite songs was Amazing Grace and he sang it with such pride.  Daddy loved to joke and tell stories of his past life, anything to make you smile.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Eugene and Lydia (Butler) Frey,  his loving companion, Rhonda Liston,  his daughters, Lori Lynn Wilson & Freda Liston, his granddaughters, Dustie Lynn Thomas & Amanda Dawn Wilson and 4 sisters and 1 brother.

He is survived by his children, Delbert E. Frey Jr. (Diane), Friendsville, MD, Edward A. Frey (Linda), Listonburg, PA, Angela D. Stark (Steven), Greencastle, PA, Nancy C. King (Mike Birtle), Confluence, PA, Tabitha S. Smith (Steven), Bruceton Mills, WV, Lydia J. McDonald (Zack), Morgantown, WV, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME FARMINGTON, PA, on  Monday October 18, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm and Tuesday October 19, 2021 in the Gospel Center Church in Markleysburg, PA from 10:00am to 11:00am the hour of the service with Reverend Martin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home.

Masks are required during visitation and all services.
