Charles Edward Pluto, 84, of Uniontown, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his home.
He was born September 27, 1941, in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late Samuel and Anna (Hanzes) Pluto.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Diana (Kezmarsky) Pluto (2007), and his siblings, Edward Pluto, Raymond Pluto, Veronica Vaselenak, and Robert Pluto.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Ericka Pluto-McKenzie, Dianna Pluto, and Mary Ann Poremba (Ronald); his sister, Mary Ann Tackett; his cousin and partner-in-crime, William “Crow” Pluto, who was like a brother to him; Michael Kezmarsky, who was like a son to him; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was a devoted businessman and loved his work, owning/operating the Big Banana for 65 years and working 7 days a week.
In addition to his dedication to business, Charles proudly served in the Military during the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD, PA, on Monday, October 27, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, from 9am until prayers of transfer at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Nativity R.C. Church at 10am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
