Charles Jeffrey Baxter

Charles Jeffrey “Jeff” Baxter (69) of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024, with his family by his side.

Jeff was a 1973 graduate of Uniontown High School who went on to pursue various roles in the automotive industry. Jeff was a former business owner of Morgantown Auto Repair Service (MARS) in Morgantown, West Virginia. In addition to his many industrious pursuits, Jeff had a love and dedication to a life of community service. Jeff was a member of the Uniontown Lions Club and former member of Cheat Lake Lions Club where he served in many capacities, including his greatest passion, The Sight Foundation.

Jeff is survived by his wife Linda Adamovich Carson Baxter, daughter, Samantha Baxter-Nard (Kenneth), son Jon Baxter, (Kari), son Josh Baxter, (Juana), stepdaughters Rachel Strauser, (Harry), and Kristie Stepp (Kenneth), (16) grandchildren, (3) Great grandchildren, and (2) brothers Roger Baxter (Shirley DeCarlo), Tom Baxter (Scarlet).

Jeff was proceeded in death by both his parents Charles and Jean Baxter.

Family and friends will be received at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD PA on Friday, April 26th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. On Saturday, April 27th visitation will begin at 10am until the time of the celebration of life service at 11am. In honoring his wishes, Jeff will be cremated and laid to rest in a private burial ceremony.
