Burton A. Tarr, 93, of Uniontown, passed away on Wednesday February 4, 2026, at Monarch Meadows Personal Care Home.
He was born January 8, 1933, in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late Burton E. and Betty Jane (Abel) Tarr.
In addition to his parents, Burton was preceded in death by his wife Joan (Lucas) Tarr on October 30, 2025; sister Margaret Jill King; and granddaughter Kellie Jo Tarr.
Burton is survived by his children Bonnie (Bill) Cox of Maryland, Kathy (Ralph) Fazenbaker of Lemont Furnace, Jackie Tarr (Tito) of Ohio, Burton (Kristy) Tarr of FL, and David (Tracy) Tarr of Lemont Furnace; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He worked as a technician for Bell Telephone Company for 42 years before his retirement.
Burton Served in the U.S. Airforce.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Monarch Meadows and Amedisys Hospice.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Saturday February 7 from 10am until 11:30am when the funeral service will be held. Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
