Anna L. Mitchell

Anna Lucia Mitchell, born on October 27, 1962, passed away on March 13, 2025 in her home of Markleysburg. She lived her life with joy, laughter, and a heart full of love, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. After nearly 30 years together, she married Ed Mitchell in 2018, who preceded her in death in 2022.

Anna is survived by her niece Rikki Jenkins, her mother, nephew, boyfriend Brian, her beloved bird Cooper, and dog Opti. Known for her contagious laughter and cheerful whistling, she found joy in the little things—cherishing time with family, playing bingo, and visiting the casino.

Anna’s final journey will bring her home to Washington State where her family is, just as she always wished. Her vibrant spirit and love-filled legacy will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
