Alberta May (Fecek) Spaw

Alberta May (Fecek) Spaw, 84, of Uniontown, passed away on Wednesday March 12, 2025.

She was born May 1, 1940, the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Fecek.

In addition to her parents, Alberta is preceded in death by her In-laws; Ray and Rosella Spaw; brother-in-law Robert Ward, Kenny Spaw; sister-in-law Jean Gallagher; and daughter in law Carol Spaw.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Spaw; Children, William Spaw Jr, Jeffrey Spaw and David Spaw; Sister, Gloria Ward; Grandchildren, Christina Moats (John), William Spaw III (Danielle), Jordan Burkley (Andy), David Spaw Jr, many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Alberta enjoyed her work as an LPN at Frick Hospital. Her passion was helping others.

Alberta was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was always putting everyone’s needs before her own. She loved crocheting and always made afghans for her new grand babies.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Monday March 17, 2025 from 4pm-7pm. Additional visitation will be held in the Bible Baptist Church (1 Evergreen Terrace Uniontown Pa 15401) on Tuesday March 18 from 10am until the hour of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Dale Reddick officiating.
