Aimee Loretta (Lambie) Sproul

Aimee Loretta (Lambie) Sproul age 96 of Ohiopyle, passed away at home Tuesday, July 16, 2019 with her family at her side. She was born in Ohiopyle, Pa on February 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Mark and Alice (Burke) Lambie.

She was the beloved wife of the late H. Wentzel Sproul of 47 wonderful years, and a mother of the late Paul L. (Linda) Sproul. Aimee is survived by her 10 children: Beverly (Marion) Hill, Darwin (Shirley) Sproul, Sharon (William) Tissue, Ronald (Donna) Sproul, Louella (Larry) Roberts, Blaney (Linda) Sproul, Resia (David) Goodlin, Marvin (Samantha) Sproul, Patricia Martin, and Twila (Greg) Nuccetelli; 30 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Aimee is survived by 1 sister Henrietta (Lambie) Miller; 4 sisters-in-laws Carol (Mark, Jr.) Lambie, Eunice (William) Randolph, Dorothy (Jennings Sproul, Friend), Roberta (Edward) Sproul and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at THE DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Rt 40 Hopwood, Pa, where services will be held at 11am Monday, July 22, 2019, at the Free Methodist Church of Hopwood, following the 10am viewing.

We would like to thank the staff of Amedisys of Uniontown for the exceptional care they gave Aimee for the past 7 months; with special thanks to Penny Martin, whom Aimee became close to.
